INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRESENTING POSTERS
POSTER ABSTRACT SUBMISSION AND POSTER GUIDELINES
The entire SESE community is welcome to submit a poster abstract or project description in order to present a poster at the SESE Research Review, including undergraduates, graduate students, professors, research affiliates and staff. We look forward to your submissions on previous research, current research, proposed future research, mapping or data visualization projects, and teaching or outreach experiences. We will also be featuring lab and research group posters. When you submit your poster title, it can be a tentative title as there will be no program made this year.
Editable Powerpoint and InDesign templates for creating a 3 ft tall by 4 ft wide poster can be found here.
If you are interested in presenting a poster at the 2021 SESE Research Review please submit an abstract by Friday, April 2nd. The link to the abstract submission page can be found here. Please upload your poster as a high resolution .PNG file or .JPEG using this form. Posters must be uploaded by April 16th. Completed posters will be uploaded to the conference’s virtual platform Gather prior to the event. Please do not have your poster printed.
Posters will be organized alphabetically, so there will be opportunities to see research from across SESE side-by-side, bridging departmental divisions where possible. Anonymous reviewers will provide feedback on posters, using a judging and feedback form. Outstanding student poster presenters will receive awards during the SESE Research review.
