Research Review Posters

Judging

SESE graduate and undergraduate students are welcome to submit a poster and an abstract in order to be judged for the 2026 SESE Research Review. We look forward to your submissions on previous research, current research, proposed future research, mapping or data visualization projects, and teaching or outreach experiences.

The poster judging is elective, but anyone can present their poster on the day of Research Review to receive peer feedback. This year, the there are two rounds of judging. The first round is virtual, and the second round is in-person on the day of the event. Not all the posters submitted in round one will be eligible for judging during round two. That is determined based on the scoring from the first round. The judging process will be as follows: 

Round One of Virtual Judging: Judges will view and judge your submitted PDF between February 9th - February 16th. 
Round Two of In-Person Judging: Judges will judge the posters and presentations that make it to the second round on the day of the event, February 23rd between 2:00pm-3:00pm.

Deadlines

Form will be active soon. Please fill out the submission form if you would like to be judged, or if you would like to present a poster at the 2026 SESE Research Review by Wednesday, February 4th.  

Form will be active soon. If you will need your poster printed, please submit your final poster to David Wojtowicz by filling out this form by Monday, February 16th at 12:00pm and plan to pick up your poster on Thursday, February 19th.
