The Earth, Society & Environment Camp for Kids is a free two-day camp held at the University of Illinois in the Natural History Building and hosted by the School of Earth, Society & Environment (SESE). The two-day camp will include several engaging geoscience camp activities and a live Q&A session with scientists! Each camp activity is created and led by SESE faculty and graduate and undergraduate students.
Parents/guardians are responsible for drop-off and pick-up. Registration is currently open. Registration will close when all 30 spots are filled. The ESE Camp for Kids is intended for rising 7th and 8th-graders in the Champaign/Urbana area. Day 1: Monday, July 27, 2026, from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
Day 2: Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
Day 3: Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
To register for the Earth, Society & Environment Camp for Kids, you will need to fill out a registration form. The registration form will be ready soon. This camp has a max capacity of 30. Once all spots are filled, you can opt to be placed on a waiting list.
